Background Features
The Gemini MailBox Processor has two background processes, which are fundemental
to the running of the system. They are run from the Gemini scheduler service downloadble from Gemini website..
- Mail Importer: This downloads
emails from a mailbox and stores them in the Gemini database.
- Mail Processor: This takes each
email and intelligently works out the best combination of project, reporter,
issue type, issue priority, etc, based on your settings in the administration
website, submitting them as issues or comments in Gemini.

Audit Records

The entire process is audited, so you will know exactly
when, and why, an issue has been assigned to a particular project/type etc. The system also
includes an optional 'Smart Monitoring' feature. If selected, full logging can be automatically
enabled, giving you specific information about the error. This avoids searching through a
huge audit log.
