Reported By

This section is to set the Reported By field based on the email sender.

The Reported By tab contains the following settings:

Use Blacklisting: MailboxPro can ignore emails sent from certain users or domains. This setting enables the blacklisting facility. Please see the section on Blacklisting for more information.

Use Aliasing: Aliasing is a mechanism to allow alternative email address to be linked to a single Gemini account. This setting enables the aliasing facility. Please see the section on Aliasing for more information.

Use Default User: If the reporter cannot be identified, the default user specified below will be assigned.

Default User: If you have selected “Use Default Users” whichever user is selected here will be assigned.

Auto Create User: MailboxPro can automatically create users, if the reporter cannot be identified. Enabling this facility will present several more options.

New User Global Groups: When a user is created, the groups selected here will be assigned to that new user.

New User Password: If you want a standard password for all new users, enter it here. Leave blank if you want a password automatically and uniquely created.

New Username Format: Select the preferred username format from the drop down list.

New Username Separator:  This value will determine how the elements of the username are separated. For example, if the username format is “Initial Last Name” and the separator is _ the resulting username will be J_Bloggs.
