Notification
Notification section deals with logging of downloaded emails and sending out notifications
to users or administrators.
The notification tab contains the following settings:
Email Reply Above Line: This line is included in the notification
emails and anything below this line in a reply will be truncated.
Import Log Enabled: This setting means that the log will always
be written each time the processor runs (once a minute)
Auto Enable Log on Error: If this is set, the import log will be
activated should an error occur in downloading the emails.
Notification Group: This Gemini group determines the recipients
of error notifications.
Send To All: This controls who receives notifications about new
items and comments created, provided the the “Notifications Off” option is not
selected (see below)
- Send To All:Everyone listed in the original email will be cc’d
on the notification.
- Never Send: Only the originator of the email will be notified.
- All if in TO list: If this option is selected, the originator and
all recipients will be notified providing the MailboxPro email address is put in
the TOfield.
- All if in CC list: If this option is selected, the originator and
all recipients will be notified providing the MailboxPro email address is put in
the CC field.
Item Created: When a new item is created, these settings will be
used:
- Notifications On:Notifications will be sent to everyone in accordance
with the “Send To All” setting above.
- Email My Changes:Notifications will be sent to everyone in accordance
with the “Send To All” setting above, but the sender will only receive a notification
if they have chosen to receive their own changes within Gemini.
- External Users: Notifications will only be sent to email addresses
which do notappear in Gemini.
- Notifications Off: No notifications will be sent by MailboxPro.
Default emails may still be sent via Gemini’s notification process.
Comment Created: When a new comment is created, these settings
will be used in exactly the same way as for Item Created above.
